Pins Mechanical Co is a rapidly growing mix-use entertainment micro-chain that started in Nashville by Rise Brands. The 16 bit bar + arcade is another concept by the brand that is built next to pins making it one large bar party. VBGB Beer Hall and Garden is a great place to join a volleyball league and grab some brews or a bite at the end of your game. A convenient walk from the amphitheater, this a great place fro a pre-show drink.
Located in the newly opened Optimist Hall, El Thrifty Social is a hip Mexican-inspired Cantina with a full bar and games. The venue is spacious and can be reserved for private events. Be sure to try the delicious desserts! Much like Pins Mechanical Co, Pinhouse (of the Hoppin group) is centered around the old-school duckpin game. Here you are the master of your drinks as you serve yourself beer and wine from their large selection of beverages. Make yourself comfortable here and pull out a book or board games with your friends.
The original venue of the Hoppin group, Hoppin is known for it's vast selection of self serve beers and wines and the "poppin" party scene equipped with food trucks and live music. You don't want to miss. At Charlotte Beer Garden you may need to give yourself some time to sift through their beer menu. This establishment is know to have the WORLD'S LARGEST beer selection! Now THAT is an accomplishment.
Last but not least (especially for me, as it's my favorite spot) we have Protagonist Brewery. The original Protagonist Taproom in the NoDa (North Davidson) area was such a hit that they were able to expand. Here you will find 10,000 square feet of entertainment including indoor/outdoor seating, 3 bars, and a bourbon lounge. Protagonist has grown to be famous due to their GINORMOUS slices of pizza! Can you finish it on your own? I dare you to try.
