Little Duck Diner Reviews
150 West Saint Julian Street, Savannah, GA 31401, USA
Little duck, another success from Ele and the Chef, is a beautifully remastered and contemporary twist on the quintessentially American diner. A perfect marriage of the fun and vibrant 30’s with the clean lines and shiny finishes of a more modern design. The palette of whites with gold accents give the space a regal look but remains inviting with its open concept and large, communal-like seating. The servers, most likely SCAD students, wide-eyed and charismatic great you as you come in and waste no time seating you. You can’t help but to explore every nuance of this space as it was so well put together! The energy is infectious and it almost forces you to smile while you absorb the atmosphere. The menu allows for all day breakfast and has many choices; typical diner fare like biscuits & gravy, egg dishes, and pancakes can be found here if you like the usual. However, they have some surprises here as well. The BBQ duck egg rolls are such a treat for the table and you can’t go wrong with a crab risotto ball! Here you will also find a variety of grilled cheeses, sandwiches, salads, and bowls. The fare here seems worldly as it doesn’t just have a simple diner theme. There are influences of Japanese, Thai, southern, and Mexican to say the least but that’s what makes this place suitable for even the least cohesive groups. The drinks are fabulous and their signature cocktails are available non-alcoholic and some come with a miniature rubber ducky (adorbs)! Price point? Super affordable so try out as many apps you can fit in your tummy! Cheers!
