Fire Street Food Reviews
13 East Perry Street, Savannah, GA, USA
This fabulous Asian inspired gem by restaurateurs Ele and the Chef is tucked away on a side street by Chippewa square, the famed spot where Forrest sat waiting for the bus. I wonder now if he was just waiting for his to-go order from Fire, I’d wait all day for that (except you don’t have to because the service is speedy!). This colorful, cozy restaurant – once a bustling gay bar by the name of Blaine’s back door, is the perfect spot for lunch! The variety of sushi rolls alone are a win here. I’ve had all of the rolls and I have to say, the Telfair roll is my favorite! I go there often and I will always start with gyoza and 2 rolls before getting whichever color curry I’m feeling for the day. The flavors are there, the rolls are beautiful, the staff is charming and the price is Oh So Right! Good for dinner prior to a night out as the meals are light and easy to digest however I just love stopping by for an early lunch. Check it out for yourselves!
