Comme c’est beau! Once you walk into this Parisian paradise located on the popular King street, you are instantly transported to a sophisticatedly adorned bar and dining room. The design of the space is clean and ornate with large arched windows turned mirrors. The natural lighting from the large windows bounce off the 3 mirrors, brightening the space and setting the mood. There is a long L shaped bar with very comfortable, leather bound seats and a large selection of libations. The mixologists friendly and relatable with so much knowledge on vintage and modern cocktails. Open for lunch, dinner, and brunch, this gem serves Parisian classics with some American twists. The lobster deviled egg was a starter for sure! Who would’ve have though lobster and eggs were so perfect a match? All of the food here is beautiful and the taste matches the appearance. There is a healthy balance of flavors that can be accented by some very selective wines. Try as many apps as possible, personally I find them to be the better part of the menu (the large plates are good too but the smaller plates take the cake). Make sure however, to make room for dessert; The menu alone J’en ai l’eau à la bouche!
