Tres Leches Cake

The classic Tres Leches Cake is a delicious dessert that you will find in most Mexican restaurants. This recipe is as authentic as it gets.
Ingredients:
1.5 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
5 eggs
1.5 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups whole milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
Prep:
preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift flour and baking powder together and set aside. Combine whole milk, condensed milk, and evaporated milk together and set aside. Whip whipping cream, 1 cup white sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla together until thick, set aside in refrigerator.
Instructions:
Cream butter and 1 cup of white sugar together until fluffy. Add eggs and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract and beat well. Add flour mixture to butter mixture in parts and mix until well blended. Pour batter into 9x13" pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour milk mixture over cooked cake then spread whipped topping on top of cake and enjoy!
