Fried Tequila Shots

Shots, shots, shot-shot-shot shots, EVERYBODY! No? well, what about dessert? Maybe both? Yeah, both. These are super easy to make and it is a Summer SMASH! Impress your friends with these flavor bombs.
Ingredients:
Store bought Angel food cake
Tequila (reposado preferred)
powdered sugar
Prep:
Heat oil to 375 degrees. Cut angel food cake into 1.5" to 2" cubes. Pour desired amount of tequila in a bowl.
Instructions:
Dip your cubes in tequila quickly, enough to get all edges wet but not soaked to the point that it is falling apart. Flash fry in the hot oil until golden brown. Remove from oil and set on paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle powdered sugar and serve! Note: This is also very good with cinnamon sugar. Add lime zest to really make it pop!
