Negroni Spagliato
This twist on the classic Negroni is perfect for those that maybe don't care for gin (which may be a crime in some countries) or just want all the goodness with a little "sparkle". The literal translation of spagliato is mistake but this is definitely not that.
Equipment:
Jigger, knife, shaker/beaker
Glass:
Rocks/whiskey glass
Ingredients:
1 part Sweet Vermouth
1 part Campari
Champagne/sparkling wine/prosecco
Ice cubes or chips
1 Orange Peel
Directions:
In a shaker or beaker pour 1 part Sweet Vermouth, and 1 part Campari and stir generously. Pour over a whiskey glass with ice and top off with champagne, prosecco, or sparkling wine. Twist your orange peel to release the oils and rub around the rim before garnishing your perfect Negroni.
