The Negroni is quite possibly the most perfect cocktail, and I'm not just saying that because it's my favorite. Though I enjoy the original, there's something about the oils and aroma from the orange that I've always wanted more of. For this reason I added a twist to the Italian classic!
Equipment: Jigger, knife, shaker/beaker Glass: Rocks/whiskey glass Ingredients: 1 part Gin 1 part Sweet Vermouth 1 part Campari 1/2 part Cointreau Aromatic Bitters 1 Large rock (Ice) 1 Orange Peel Rosemary Directions: In a shaker or beaker pour 1 part Gin, 1 part Sweet Vermouth, 1 part Campari and 1/2 part Cointreau (or your favorite orange liqueur) and stir generously. Pour over a large rock (Spherical if you want to look extra fancy) and add 4-6 drops of aromatic bitters. Twist your orange peel to release the oils and rub around the rim before garnishing and add a sprig of rosemary to complete the look.
