Gin Basil Lemonade

You won't find this lemonade at your neighborhood stand! The combination of sweet basil and the tart lemon makes for a dynamic duo. Have this drink on the rocks as you enjoy conversation on the porch and a warm afternoon.
Equipment:
jigger, mixing spoon, muddler
Glass:
High Ball
Ingredients:
2oz Gin
1 Lemon
8 Basil leaves sliced or chopped
1oz Simple Syrup
club soda
ice
Directions:
In high ball, muddle sliced or chopped basil in the fresh squeezed juice of 1 lemon, 2oz of gin, and 1oz of simple syrup. Add crushed or cubed ice then top off with club soda. Quick stir and enjoy!
